She obtained the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation in 1998.
Her business is located in Mill Valley and has clients all over the United States. She takes great pride in developing personal relationships with her clients to ensure that she appropriately understands their complete financial picture and goals. By working together, Cyndi is able to provide personalized investment strategies and service for her clients.
In 2008, just before the financial crisis, Cyndi joined a selected delegation of 56 Financial Planning Association (FPA) members from across the U.S. and together they traveled through the People to People (PTP) Ambassador program. This was an opportunity for FPA members to form alliances with global financial professionals. The goal of the delegation was to understand how financial services are being shaped in other countries and to see how they have developed their banking, securities, investment advisory, insurance, tax and financial planning offerings over the years. Cyndi arrived back in the United States to witness the largest financial collapse in the US since the Great Depression.
A native San Franciscan, Cyndi is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), The Financial Services Institute, Mill Valley Rotary Club, Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, The Bay Club and The Commonwealth Club. She was active in Boy Scout Troop One, a former treasurer of AAUW and a board member of the IAFPA (the organization for financial planners before the FPA). She enjoys fine arts, travel, gardening, ballroom dancing, exercise and spending time with family and friends.
